need to tie in a sweep under a concrete slab and is a fernco acceptable to connect the fitting as there is no roof for movement
Was not clear the fitting will be in nw concrete so I would guess the ss bands would deteriorate with contact with concrete

If you want to be 100% legal, check the manufacturer's literature for the coupling. Some shielded couplings(Proflex and Band-Seal) are not recommended for in-ground use. Fernco No-Hub couplings are stated for connecting no-hub cast iron(no mention on using for plastic). Mission Flex-Seal ARC and Fernco Strong Back RC 1000 are stated by the manufacturers for plastic to plastic and also in-ground.
