Author: ericsarratt (NC) I am new to the business. I am a septic installer and am branching out into plumbing. For now, to learn, I am experimenting on my own home's plumbing and taking on simple jobs that I have experience with. Do you have any recommendations for trade knowledge oriented plumbing books?

Author: Mr tee (MT) If you are under the UPC then THE UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE ILLUSTRATED TRAINING MANUAL is excellent. However, it is quite expensive.

Author: ericsarratt (NC) Thanks. I am under the IPC, but I will pick it up anyway. Ebay and CL and time usually get me things for a discount. Actually, I looked on the IAPMO website and it is available for free. Edited 2 times.

Author: vic (CA) Be careful what you're clicking on when it states you can get a "free" copy of UPC. IAPMO doesn't offer a free copy of UPC. There will be some sites that may show it however caution IF its not a secure site. Edited 1 times.
