Tank running on my newly installed Glacier Bay Dual Flush
Author: TMB_FL (FL)

I just installed a Glacier Bay Dual Flush Toilet today.

When I turned the water back on following installation, the tank and bowl filled up as anticipated.

Once the tank was full, I tested the toilet with a flush.

Everything seemed to be in working order... no leaks, the bowl was not running, etc.

However, the tank is continuing to run. Even when the water level reaches the threshold of the overflow tube, it is still running.

I have shut off the water for now, and am seeking help on stopping the tank from continuously running.

Thanks for the help in advance,

Either the fill valve is defective/dirty or it's out of adjustment. Sometimes when the water is shut off and then restored, debris from inside a pipe or a piece of the angle stop washer gets loose and will cause problems. If it's not out of adjustment, see if the fill valve can be disassembled and checked for debris.
