 Boiler Leak
Author: VijayOdedra (Non-US)

I have leak coming from the compression fit of a cold water valve under the boiler. I have tried tightening, using PTFE tape and have checked the rubber seal inside which looks normal. I have tried taking off and putting it on many times now with no luck. Any advice would be great and if it's something that needs replacing uf any one knows the name of the part it would be helpful. My boiler is a Ideal Logic + Combi 30.

can you get 1 more picture with the nut loosened and pushed back out of the way.
i think you are calling it a 'compression' joint and it is not.
anyway, a combination of teflon tape wrapped in the right place and some pipe dope over it should fix this.
