can't get the water temperature right in my shower
Author: c-lab (CA)

This problem started when I had someone replace the water heater but I do not know how to fix it. I cannot seem to get a water temperature I am comfortable with. It either runs too cold or too hot. I just watched a video on how to replace the trimmings but I do not think this will solve it. Do you have any suggestions?

do not replace anything until you first flush it out to get rid of any possible debris.
turn the water of, remove the innards, inspect them for debris, clean as needed, turn water back on with innards removed to flush inside of valve, put it all back together to see if this helps.
