1 1/4" sweat brass tubular extension.
Author: exapprentice30 (MA) I was unsoldering a 1 1/4" 17 ga chromed brass tube extension with a flush cut piece in the 1 3/4 long hub and I dropped it and dented 3/4" of the hub and 1" of undamaged hub is left. can I cut the dented part off and make it useable? Edited 1 times.

Author: packy (MA) silver bearing solder (like silvabrite) is so much stronger than previously used 50/50 that i would say 'no problem'. i'm surprised that you don't have a tubuler 'swedge' tool in your box. don't use it much but when it is needed, it is very useful.
