 Wall mounted commode

Our bathroom is gutted we want to mount the commode on the CBS wall is that doable is there an issue with the carrier and through the wall Utilities and handles????? Can’t the carrier and Water tank Mouth on the CBS wall On the opposite side of the commode ?

(ANSWER. A CBS wall is essentially two wall types placed on top of one another, a layered concrete block wall with a solid poured concrete tie beam across the top.)

if you can figure out how to get all this into that type wall, you are a better plumber than i am.



remember the pipe must be vented as well.

well then, so much depends on which carrier you buy.
just look up on google for 'wall hung toilet carrier'.
there are many styles out there.
they must all be braced well enough to drive an F450 over them.

typical installation:



as others have said, the main issue is structural, ie. needing a 'rock solid' structure to mount the carrier to, eg. a concrete deck, or vertical 2 x 8 s


be sure, be very sure, BE VERY VERY SURE you must have a true wall hung bowl as opposed to a floor mount back outlet
