I cant get my faucet off
Author: Deliliah (CT)

So i had a leaky water hose to my pull out kitchen faucet.... i can’t find an exact hose because there is no model mark on it... so now im trying to replace the whole faucet, but under the sink, where the sprayer hose and hot and cold water hoses join is this “thing” its not really a bolt, or a nut... its like a hose divider that houses all 3 tubes and its fed into the actual faucet, loews, home depot, and plumbing store suggested using a basin wrench.... i used one and when i turn the only thing that looks like a bolt, the entire faucet turns with it... i have a picture.... any help or suggestion or ideas would be greatly appreciated [postimg.cc]

It looks like there should be a way from the topside, to access that threaded rod. Possibly an allen wrench would be needed, to turn the threaded rod to loosen the toothed clamp with the "A" mark on it.
