 New commercial construction plumbing
Author: sum (FL)

I drove by a nearby multi-story building under construction, and noticed that the ground floor ceiling has dozens and dozens of PVC pipe sticking out of second floor floor slab.

I am just curious, do they label each pipe so you know which one serves what? Does the plumber who is connecting all these to the main drain need to know what is what or does it not matter?

The Plumber reads the Building's blueprints, not to mention everythings wide open at this point.

I hope no one on the upper floors uses the pipes when the other end is still open!

Since you're in sunny FL, they can just connect the drains and run the mains along the ceiling of the 1st floor parking garage with no worries about freezing.
