Hi all, Ok a little back ground info I have a 100ft well, sta-rite 1 hp jet pump, new 35 gallon flotec pressure tank and a new 40/60 pressure switch. ok the pump cuts in at 40 fills the tank and cuts out at sixty. Holds pressure fine. When water is used out of tank and reaches 40 pump cuts on but the problem is while pump is running to fill tank back up I only get a dribble of water in the house but when tank is full I have good water pressure in the house but as I said when pump kicks in it goes to a dribble, any ideas what could be causing this.

Does the pump turn on the instant any water is used? Any issues when the water is running, such as spitting air? How old is the pump? Do you have hard water?

Hi not sure how old the pump is but I do know I have been living here since 2006 and the pump was here when I moved in and no the pump does not cut on until it reaches cut in pressure which is 40 and off at 60. No spitting of air and not sure about hard water. If hard water is where it stains your toilet then yes lol
