Have a grohe thermostatic cartridge

(https://www.amazon.com/GROHE-47025000-Paraffin-Cartridge/dp/B0017VAWJ0/ref=sr_1_fkmrnull_4?keywords=GROHE+47025000+cartridge&qid=1548016167&s=Home+Improvement&sr=1-4-fkmrnull)

that continues to have problems. Have replaced once and is malfunctioning again 6 months later(have checked and readjusted hot limit stop to no avail). Observed some calcium/ lime buildup on hot inlet which I cleaned out when replacing cartridge first time.
Any suggestions what to do short of replacing entire valve (including body).
Does Grohe make a different style cartridge that would fit that body?
Some kind of filter system?
Would replacing both anode rods on both water heaters be a possible solution (both water heaters are under 6 years old and don't appear very rusty when flushing? No evidence of particulate from dip tube, etc.

You need to stay on top of cleaning the inside of the body that wraps around the cartridge. Grohe will send the tools to do the maintenance but vinegar and water need to be soaking over night each time you perform the maintenance. Experience will help you to determine how often to do it
