Exterior bar faucet

I have an exterior bar sink and I need to replace the bar faucet.

The single handle bar faucet I have has both the hot and cold water supply hoses. Yet I have only a cold water supply line and stop valve underneath. I can think of various ways to make the connection, what is the "right" way if there is one?

- find a plug or something to plug off the hot water hose nut. I think it's a standard 3/8" nut.

- some sort of a tee connection to the angle stop valve that allows both the hot and cold hoses to connect to it.

- change out the stop valve to a dual stop valve and connect both hoses to it.

Author: NP16 (OR) Probably code to have hot water there especially if there's any food preparation. Hire an electrician to bring power there (unless it's already there?) Then install "3000W Mini Electric Tankless Instant Hot Water Heater with LCD Display for Home Bathroom Kitchen Washing US Plug 110V (Red)". Available at very low cost. Edited 1 times.

Author: sum (FL) I have power there, both 120 and 240V, but won't be needing hot water. It's an outdoor bar sink. The cold water coming out of it is usually too hot so I let it run for a bit before it reaches "room temperature". Food preparation is a charcoal BBQ grill next to it. An ice maker there would be great.
