Sump Pump pushing water out the washer machine pipe
Author: damian3249 (IL)

Not sure if anyone had this problem because I searched all over the internet and couldn't find anything like it. the washing machine is in the basement and after using it, I guess the water doesn't completely drain from them. Then when the water pump tuns on, all the water bursts out from that pipe where the hose from the washer is inserted. We cleaned out the pump and a lot of the pipes we can get to in the basement and it's still doing it. Anyone have any suggestions?

A drain pipe is still partially restricted and needs to be mechanically cleaned, better than what's been done.

if there is a cleanout in the laundry drain pipe, snake from there.
