Dumb question i know but could use your help. I am trying to replace the cartridges in my Jado bathroom sink faucet. The handles are easy to get off, but i am not sure how to get the brass base off so i can get to the cartridges.
Do they unscrew? i don't want to break them... any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Andrew

They would normally just unscrew from the valve.

hj is correct. Just grip the valve trim after removing the handles and unscrew it. There will be a brass nut that contains the cartridge, you can then pull it out of the valve body. Be sure your assembly is not loose. to check remove any articles under the sink and make sure the nut that locks the valve to the sink is tight. You may need a basin wrench for this. Good luck.
