Have an unusual problem, every week or so a slimy black mold form on the inside of a faucet aerator. I can run my finger against it and this slimy mold comes off. No other faucet has this trouble, and other faucets have the same aerator.

Replace the old aerator with a antimicrobial laminar flow aerator. I've used a laminar aerator for years. The water comes out crystal clear and quieter. This is from this sites sponsor.

Mold develops in damp area. So it will keep coming back. But hey don't worry, you can get rid of mold using conventional methods. You can use water+bleach or water+vinegar solution for mold removal. Spray on the tap and scrub it. Thereafter rinse it using plain water. You can also use professional grade mold cleansers for a stronger effect.[fowcrys.wixsite.com]
