Are the valve bodies(shower mixer) properly secured, or just floating on the piping? Remove the trim and take a look.

What is the pressure when the banging is happening?

try this.
flush the toilet and immediately open a couple of faucets. when the toilet shuts off is when the banging occurs. see if it occurs with a couple of faucets fully open and running.
In other words you are lowering the house pressure by opening 2 faucets to see if it has any effect.

With Faucet open the hammer intensity decreases considerably.
The problem is similar in both the bath areas.
Awaiting your advice.

Are you using the word "toilet", meaning bathroom? I'm confused....I thought you had identified shower mixers in 2 different bathrooms that both banged, and wanted to know the cause? Leaving a valve open, while another closes will always reduce or eliminate the bang, regardless of the pressure. "It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop".

I have two bath rooms each having Wash Basin,Toilet & Shower. At both the places shutting off Shower mixer,Wash basin Faucet or toilet tank fill valve shut off causes banging noise in the Mixer Valve.
Shower Mixers are Delta Monitor 1400 series manufactured before 2006.

Hope it is clear now.
Sorry for the confusion.

Gain access to the valves, and properly secure them to blocking. If you have wall space behind the shower valve, you may have to install an access panel. It's a good idea to have that, anyway, for future repairs or replacement.

Have firmly secured the Shower valve assembly but knocking/banging sound still exits in the Shower valve.

Culprit was Shower Mixer Cartridge.
Changed it.No banging noise now in one of the bathrooms.
Second Bathroom Shower Mixer Cartridge also need to be changed.
Strangely both bathrooms developed similar problem at the same time.

Nice Job!....How did you handle gaining access to secure the valves? I know, it turned out that the problem was other than that, but believe me, you don't want that valve moving around or something will eventually start leaking.
