Foam won't stop coming out of kitchen faucet.

I moved into a mobile home community last week and every time I use the kitchen faucet the water foams up in the glass. It looks like soap and not just the usual bubbles. I left a glass with the foam on the counter last night, and this morning a small amount of foam was still sitting on top of the water ? I don't know how the water is supposed to taste here, but compared to my old place, it doesn't taste right. Is there any store bought kit I can buy to test the water ?

Author: m & m (MD) The home may have sat idle over the winter. If so, its plumbing was probably winterized with a food grade potable antifreeze which will produce a foamy water stream. Just run the water off until the foam disappears. It may take some persistence over a couple days if some antifreeze made its way into the water heater.
