Hello,
I tried to pull a Moen single handle off so that I can replace the cartridge (leaky faucet). The handle is the type you rotate to turn on and control the temp (not the pull handle). Unlike the newer handles, this one doesn't have a hex screw on its side but rather has a single long phillips screw in front of the handle, right in the center. Even after taking the screw out, the handle feels like its bolted on (not saying it is, but it is just really stuck on there). I was wondering if there is anything that may help prying the handle off?
Thank you

There is a brass clip that must be pulled up too release the cartridge. Go online there are videos you can view.

first he has to get the handle off. Which is what he is trying to do and asking questions as to how to do it.

After the handle is off, that's usually when the fun starts.
