 Help IDing stem?
Author: cluelesshomeowner (VA)

Hi - I have an old bidet thats leaking below the handles. Guessing it needs new stems and/or seats. I have asked quite a few plumbing supply stores to help me ID, and so far only a couple have ventured a guess/answer. Some say "we don't do bidets," but from looking at so many stems online and in stores, I don't believe there's something special about these? Just can't seem to find a match. The bidet was probably installed about 35 years ago. (By the way as a novice I am amazed how many different stems there are - must be an interesting history!). One firm suggested I post here.

So here are the pictures:

One firm thinks it's Indiana Brass 4294/4295.

I believe it's 18 splines, about 1.5 inches?

Any thoughts appreciated! Thanks!

The Indiana Brass stems all seem to have a "flange" above the "O" ring seal. Streamway is the only one I see that it is flush all the way to the top.
