 Washer drain
Author: ksalmons (CA)

When our washing machine drains the line backs up and leaks. I've run the lye-based cleaner starting at the drain pipe. I've also run a hose bladder through the pipe, clean out and every vent in the house from the roof.
When I run hot water down the drain pipe it doesn't back up completely but I can hear the water coming back up the pipe almost until it overflows but then hear a gurgling sound.
To clarify, when the drain hose is snugged into the pipe it will eventually overflow. When I simply run water down the pipe it backs up almost to the point of overflow then I hear the gurgling and the line doesnt overflow.
I have a video but it doesn't look like I can post it here. Thanks in advance for the help.

The line is clogged somewhere, and just running water with a bladder is NOT going to unplug it. You need a plumber with a snake.
