How to rough in for a wall mount kitchen faucet
Author: jblanche (WI)

Is there a generic 8" rough-in bar that has something like two 1/2 inch NPT drop ears, or do I just have to mount drop ears 8" on center, on a 2x4 set to the right depth, and then choose the right length brass nipples to connect the faucet union nuts?

There's no rough-in kit for these faucets. Just the finished brass and fittings.

No mounting bar that I'm aware of.

some faucets come with excentric nipples so you don't have to perfect with the drop ear 90's.

Thanks folks, I am leaning away from that faucet because the spray hose does not have backflow protection and I know that wouldn't pass inspection. One of the others I am looking at, has the adjustable arms, which would make it a bit easier to adjust if necessary.
