Hi all, Is it acceptable to connect a Water Closet Flange directly to a 3" DWV Combination Wye & 1/8 Bend instead of connecting it to a Closet Bend or a 3" Long Sweep 90 ? Thanks

It depends on HOW you do it and whether you are venting it properly.

a dry vent like you show is going to plug up over the years.

you would be much better off if you could vent the toilet with a wye rolled up like this.

For a vent to work properly it should be above the drain flow line.

For dry vents right? If wet vents there is flow rinsing out the line then no roll up is necessary correct?

Flat venting is your picture showing, and rolling vents under 42" without the use of continuous 45's will never allow the sludge to 'fall' back into the path of the waste line in a clogged moment. Has to be a 45 degree continuous rise.

Should 90 the water closet straight to your wall, turn up a tee and then come out of the tee with two 45's to get turned back in the direction of the high wall main cleanout. That way the toilet is vented properly.
