 septic tank inlet

i can/t go straight into my tank i need to put a long sweep 90 at the inlet and angle it up slightly to get above tank and cut across the corner of tank does this seam ok to do this way ? ineed to run the drain from the side of tank inlet side it it 3' pipe thamks

Not a good idea to slope up ever especially in this area. Why can't you go directly into the septic tank just cut a hole through it and place the sewer pipe into the side of the septic tank.? Please post a picture if you can as explanation is somewhat confusing.

Not that easy. There are requirements concerning the inlet "baffle" that have to be met, along with other considerations.

I thought about going thru side may do that the inlet now just has a concrete baffle that waste hits and drops straight down I thougt if i cut a hole in tank and made a baffle out of 6=8" pipe and tied the inlet into it it would do the same thing if how i plumbed yesterday with 45s causes trouble i will go thru side

I can guarantee that unless you remove the cover on the septic tank you will NOT create a proper baffle, or one that can be serviced properly.

I did have cover off that;s how I know how the baffle is in tank from factory if I have to go thru side later i will take cover off again to make a baffle from pipe
