 Water line to house
Author: jpbramhall (TX)

I repaired a 1" PVC water line to house. Good repair was made. When I turned on the water from the meter, the PVC line began to bow out of hole and eventually ruptured at the repair site.... repeated the process by opening all of the faucets in the house with the same result.
Any help on what causes the recurrent failure ? Blockage.... ?

no so easy as that..
you can reduce the volume of water by opening the main valve part way but you can not reduce the pressure that way.
only way to reduce pressure is by installing a pressure reducing valve.
