So had a flooring guy replace the bad floor in the bath.

Flange with a attached foot of PVC pipe was cut off from the crawl space to remove flange.

Now the @#$%& has lost the measurements to cut the hole in the new floor. I had told him before he removed old flange to just measure center from the back wall and side wall.

Any tricks of the trade to now do this.

Maybe go under house with a plumb bob and visual center it in the pipe from a spot on the floor?

Standard is 12" from finished wall to drain center and a minimum of 15" from drain center to anything to the side(tub, cabinet,...). I would go down below the floor and plumb up to find the center. I would use a 24" level, plumb up at 4 90* locations and measure the center of those spots.

I believe you are saying that you have a new floor in the bathroom and want to figure out how to place the toilet flange. The toilet flange Center has to be 12 in from the finished wall. Where you want the toilet drill a hole through the floor and subfloor in the basement you can see where the the whole is. From that is where you would cut your hole

Yes, but was concerned if it would line up perfect to the old pipe. Did not want to just trust the measurements of what it should be on a 60 year old house.

Guess not a big disaster if it does not line up below. Since at least it is all PVC now including the main stack. So easier to work with if I have to change something below. Just not a lot of room in the crawl space.
