I turned off water online to an outdoor faucet for the winter.
Today I noticed that the cold water for the washing machine
Above it does not flow anymore. Turned on the line and water is
Only flowing to the outdoor faucet. Any ideas?
Just to clarify when I turn on the inline shutoff ...the water flows to outdoor faucet but when outdoor faucet faucet is turned off the water does not make it up line to the washer.

There is a screen, normally at the bottom end of the hose, that is no doubt clogged. I like to add another one (filter washer) at the top so you don't have to move the machine to clean the screen.

yeah, you need to turn off the shutoff behind the washer and remove the cold water hose to see where the filter is and if it is clogged ..

When you turned the valve off for the winter, did it also turn off the cold water to the washing machine? If not, then the valve being on or off has NOTHING to do with the lack of water to the machine.
