Has anyone serviced these ice cream dipper wells?

The main problem is leaks in the drains. What gasket makes the seal? Is that just hose threads?

thanks for any helpful input on this.

Need to replace existing PEX water lines too. I'm thinking of going with 3/8" or 1/4" braided steel.
I am bidding this job so the new drain can be ran in any material I choose. 3/4" PVC is cheap.

Unscrew the Brass piece from the bottom of the strainer and there will be a flat fiber or rubber gasket that makes the seal. It is probably 1 1/4" but take it to a good hardware store to find another like it. Good luck

It looks like it is soldered in to the well, so there is a gasket inside the nut. It is NOT likely a "hose thread".
