 Kitchen faucet emergency
Author: Palm329 (VA)

Fellas,

My sister (in California so I can’t assist her directly) just called me... apparently she went to the big box store today to buy new handles for her kitchen faucets... she undid the wrong part and water fired up to the ceiling. Luckily she knew how to shut off her house water so damage isn’t too bad.

Anyway, here’s what she’s got. Can anyone explain the order of reassembly for this pile of parts? Not sure on the brand but it’s an old house.

No water in the house until this gets reassembled. I doubt the undersink cutoff valves are operational.

Thanks!

Wide end of the spring goes down, rubber cup covers over the spring and then the cartridge and retaining nut.

Thanks!! She was able to get it reassembled and everything’s fine now.

Any idea what brand of faucet this is? She can’t find any markings or brand on it.

those are delta parts..
so it is either a delta faucet or a delta faucet rebranded for another company..
