Getting ready to replace galvanized plumbing with pex a. I'm not sure how to stub up into existing walls to shut off valves under sinks.looking at 1\2" drop ear elbows, any ideas?

steve, while i consider stubbing out with nipples to be a valid method, the only time i ever do this is when the stops are something fancy other than chrome. such as brushed nickel trap and stops.
i have seen too many old time threaded stubouts that had a slight leak behind the wall that had sealed itself shut over the years..
