New guy on the block here. Here is the story our kitchen faucet (moen) was on its last leg and we went into OSH for something unrelated and found a Delta 100 DST faucet that we both liked and figured I would just replace the moen. The pic on the box didn't show a sprayer nor did it say anything about a sprayer which is fine as I don't have the set up for the sprayer. My porcelain sink has a vent for the dishwasher only. The Delta has hoses for the sprayer, so I assumed that it wouldn't work unless you pressed the sprayer button....wrong lol. Turn on the water and the water comes out the sprayer holes (into a bucket underneath the sink) Is there a shut off valve or something like that to close the water off from the sprayer? Please tell me yes as OSH was having a closing sell and there is no returns lol. Thanks gang I appreciate it.

You would have to cap the line for the spray. I'm not sure what those threads are and a brass cap may not be so easy to find. Worse case, some hose with a bolt & two hose clamps (very hokey but it'll work). You may as well remove the diverter from the faucet as well.

Alternately, you could remove the air gap and run the DW drain hose as high as you can inside the cabinet.

there should have been a black plastic piece that snapped on to the spray outlet. depending on how you attached it, it would either block the opening, or attach the spray hose.

Another option would be to find a 300 series base plate and swap them.
