I keep getting conflicting info from our MEP guys and the inspectors, we have had to redo this bathroom/kitchen/washroom wet wall like 4 times

One inspector finds one thing, we change it, the next finds another thing, on and on.

So we have a 3" horizontal wet vent for a bathroom that goes into a 3" dry vent stack

the main san out is 4"

the 3" dry vent serves the shower, lav, kitchen sink and a clothes washer

One inspector said I just needed to move the clothes washer drain, downstream of the toilet, another said I couldnt wet vent anything, another said I could wet vent but only if it was 1 pipe size bigger

HELP!

I would take my concerns to the Head Inspector for the city or county amd ask for a ruleing. Are you licensed and have the appropriate credentials? If so you should get a fair and reasonable ruling. Let us know how it turns out.

They could all be correct. It depends on HOW the piping and fixtures are arranged and WHERE they connect to the piping.

Only fixtures of the bathroom group can be on the horizontal wet vent. The kitchen and laundry must be vented separate of the wet vented bathroom group and must enter the horizontal drain on the street side of the most downstream bathroom fixture. 908.2 - 2016 CA Plbg Code.

So related question, I re-arranged it to be a wet vent only for the bathroom group that is served by that wet wall.

But that leaves the kitchenette sink and washing machine drains and vents

Can I wet vent the washing machine through the kitchenette sink? I cant fit both in there without creating a crown vent on the washing machine p-trap
