I have a new house coming up that has a full size DW on one side of the sink and a drawer style DW on the otherside
so I will have (2) DW's draining under the kitchen sink.....im wondering how I will handle it
option 1: Airgap and DW tail piece for DW1 and funnel connection for dw2 (vertical wetvent ks drain over Dw funnel connection)
option 2: no air gap.....have 2" funnel connection and stuff both DW's into it....same vertical wet vent with KS over DW Funnel
I guess why do I even need 2"for the DW....for what little comes out of them I could just use the normal 1 1/2"
its a new one for me....something I haven't thought about before....how would you handle it?

Here in NC we would use a dishwasher tailpiece under each basket strainer, no funnel.

2 bowl, garbage disposal on one side
no way the customers allowing 2 air gaps.....and if im doing a funnel for one of them then why not just dump both into the funnel and skip the air gap

I have seen two dishwashers connected to a "Y" before connecting to the air gap. Either install check valves or rely on the DW pump check valve to prevent backflow. There is also a "double air gap" fitting. Do an Internet search for it and you will get several options.

I would like the OP to at least do SOME searching for the items I refer to. He doesn't learn much if everything is handed to him.
