Hello, I will be replacing our original iron tub (60x28.5) with an alcove-type whirlpool tub (60x36). Does anyone have opinion/recommendation on Kohler vs. Jacuzzi?
Many thanks,
Steve K.

i do install a lot of Kohlers....Jacuzzi is decent but isnt really an A-grade product...id give them a B+ or A-
Kohler tubs are hit or miss...some are horribly cheap and light...some are good
i always install Akers...or a Lasco...or a National....id look at Aker Acrylics if it was my house

Everyone has there preferences but I would for sure pick a whirlpool jetted tub that has an inline factory heater and tale a close look at air jetted and for me not Lasco

Over the last 20 years, Jacuzzi has been owned by 5 diiferent companies. Kohler still has the same owner. That alone has some major benefits
Best Wishes

Not sure about the tubs, but other products like toilets...Jacuzzi is just a licensed brand name applied to import junk at stores like the blue box.
