Hello, I'm hoping for some help with filling in the trench that I dug. I'm unsure what to do for the fill the soil that I took out had a bunch of rocks and broken up concrete in it and it was a bit contaminated the pipes were cracked around it and I found a bunch of roots in the soil. It was very black underneath the clay tile I'm not sure to put the soil back in or to put sand underneath the new Plumbing that I ran or just to put 3/4 Clear Rock in there and then pour the concrete on top. Thanks for your help in advance I really appreciate it!

I would go buy 50 lb bags of play sand and have at least 6" of sand on top and bottom of the pipe

Yep on the sand. The sand will help to stabilize the pipe from moving while you are pouring the concrete. The stone you seek, is in the concrete mix.
Best Wishes

Is it me or the joint looks a bit crooked where your claw hammer sits.
Are you sure you want to frame the wall over that window?

Haha. The window is under the deck so I'm getting it sprayfoamed in. And yes its a bit crooked I'd say about five degrees, I just didn't want to chip up any more concrete considering the clay pipe was initially installed that way . Thanks for the reply! Good eye!
