I have just replaced my new electric water heater and it keeps on shutting of works fine but it shuts off everything is put well but i do not know whats wrong with it the breaker dont trip

It's suppose to shut off when the water reaches a preset temperature. Have you turned up the thermostats ?

Electric water heaters come from the factory with the temp setting to a safe but lower temp of about 120-125 degrees. The booklet that came with it explains how to adjust the temp higher if you want to do that. There are 2 cover plates on the outside, one near the top and the other one lower down. The temp setting is behind those cover plates. You should turn OFF the circuit breaker before removing these cover plates.
