My pump is submersible. It was coming on at 41psi and off at 68psi.
My tank had 8psi. got portable compresser and put in 38psi. turned breaker off and turned off water supply to house.
Disconnected from the tank and changed out the switch.(there was no water in tank)guessing this is from a backflow preventer on pump???
Every thing turned back on. Tank holding pressure, water still off and it still turns on and off . loses pressure in maybe a minute, then kicks back on. on and off, on and off, but I don't have any water turned on. Is it a pump problem??? It will be a pump problem soon it keeps going like this.
Any and all comments welcome and appreciated. (PS--my switch is a 40-60)
