 Sewer line to septic tank
Author: ropinheels (CO)

I have an new construction house with the septic tank about 14' from the house. Because of the slope and direction to the leach field, the tank inlet will be at 90degrees from the line.

Can I use two 45 elbows to make this connection? Are there any code violations by doing this? Even if it is within code am I going to run into more clogs or problems.

I will have a two way clean out right outside the house.

Thanks for the help and suggestions.

should be no problem assuming proper slope.

Two 45's will be fine, no problem.

Thanks for the replies. I should have a slope 1/2 to 3/4 in/ft from the house to the tank.
