 Symmons shower spindle
Author: arnn01 (MA)

I had minimal hot water in my shower. I replaced the Symmons shower spindle and the volume valve. I now have almost no water flow through the shower.

did you tap the handle end of the spindle against a wood surface to make sure the balancing spool is loose?

There may be a reference to a "hot seat" that may require replacement. The valve should be flushed to with the spindle out to remove any debris.
