I removed a cork gasket and securing nut underside of sink from a faucet labeled 'Crane Plumbing'. I got ahead of myself while trying to clean fixture before figuring out it was just a clogged aerator. I replaced torn original gasket with a standard rubber washer. Testing new washer resulted in water spewing out when turning sink on. Hot & cold connections appear tight.
What can I replace the original cork gasket with to fix leak?
Thank you

i'm assuming you have a wide spread faucet and you removed something that was used to seal a connection??
if so, either get some graphite packing to replace the cork packing or take a long piece of teflon tape, roll it between your fingers to make it into a long string. then wrap that many times around the place the cork came from.
again, all this assumes you are re-packing a connection..

Hardware, or a big box, store should have the gasket for a Crane Dial-eze faucet.

Do not need one. THere is only ONE version of the Dial-Eze that uses a cork gasket seal.

Standard kit for Dial-eze replacement cork
gasket does not fit, too big. I tried cutting my
own gasket made of cork/rubber to fit. Used silicone caulk
to help seal it, but no luck.
