I mistakenly poored vinegar down this tub drain without realizing it created the verdigris which has now corroded the brass tub drain closed. What, if any, substance can I safely and effectively pour down this drain that can free up the valve and for example, can sulfuric acid help? Thank you for your time and attention.

Muriatic acid may help, but a liberal spraying of WD-40 repeated several times is usually what works.

I would not mix sulfuric acid with vinegar without running it by a chemist. Mixing cleaning products is not advised for your safety. I am not a chemist but would consult with one before doing this.
