Mystery valve under kitchen sink spraying water
Author: Kitster (CA)

I just finished replacing some pipes under my kitchen sink, and they are great, no leaks anymore but oddly enough now when I run water down my right hand sink which is the one with the garbage disposal water shoots out of some mystery valve under the sink. It is in the middle, between the water lines. It is not attached to anything, and it has never leaked before! I am at a standstill, as I cannot find any help online (so far) with solving the mystery. I will attempt to add a photo here: Thank you so much!!

That's where a hand held sprayer would connect. You can put a plug- cap there.
