I get NO hot water at any faucet in my entire house, BUT, if I run the upstairs bathtub cold water.then every faucet runs super hot. One i turn the cold water off on that tub, every faucet goes back to cold water only. This is a flipped house and that one bathtub is a new addition I believe. Is this a clue or is there anything I can do? HELP!
Have a new, standard gas water heate, 40 gallon set at normal temp. Plumber thought that water heater was faulty so he replaced with a brand new water tank. but no difference,

I'm guessing that tub has a single handle and the cartridge is bad, allowing the cold water to cross over to the hot piping. Replacing the cartridge should cure the problem.

It does have a single handle...so you think that one specific faucet could cause everything else in the house to run cold due to that one possible crossover? Thanks!
