 Kohler single-handle pressure-balancing shower valve
Author: bam99 (SC)

My Kohler K-304-K single-handle pressure-balancing shower valve failed after about 14 years of good service.
I couldn't make the water cool enough to take a shower.
I replaced the pressure-balancing cartridge about six months ago.
Now I can't make the water warm enough to take a shower.
Can I make an adjustment to get more hot water, or do I need a new cartridge again?

There's a stop, to adjust how far the handle will rotate to hot. You could try and adjust that, but if you had no problem right after replacing the cartridge until now, unless it's because the incoming cold water is colder, then the problem would be again with the cartridge.
