 Kitchen sink rough in..
Author: Stella11 (FL)

Installing new kitchen sink. Deep SINK, center drain with disposer and DW to the sink right. Where is best location to rough in PVC waste pipe inside the base cabinet. All plumbing will be coming up through concrete slab through cabinet bottom. It is a center island.

if there is a 2 x 4 , half wall, behind the cabinet, put it in there. keep it off to one side so any pull out faucet hose does not bump into it. you can then stub out of the half wall at 14-14 1/2 inches off the finish floor.
if no wall the keep it against the back wall off to one side for the same reason..
the DW does not factor into which side the pipe is. the DW comes with a long 3/4 inch corrugated plastic hose that will attach to the nipple on the disposer.

OK. so it will come up thru the floor, have a sanitary tee in it with a short piece of pipe on top up to an adapter that has an AAV screwed into it.
make absolutely sure the branch inlet of the san tee is at no higher than 14 1/2 inches. with a deep sink and a disposer you will need it that low. of course that is all done after the base cabinet is set.
