Hi, when I flush sometimes the tank stops filling up with water. A couple minutes later it starts to fill up again. What does this mean? Thanks!

probably the fill valve needs to be replaced.
you can try taking it apart (with the water shut off) and flushing it for debris.

It depends on why it stops filling. if it is because the tank is full, then it is turning on again because water is leaking out of the tank.If the tank is not full, then there is mosr likely a problem with the fill valve and the easiest repair is to replace it, unless you are running out of water and there is no water ANYWHERE in the building until it starts filling again.

Or most likely to be the flapper valve. Take a photo of the inside of your tank and go to Big Box and tell them the brand of the toilet. You might also want to take a photo of the toilet with you.
