I am installing a gas range. With all the fittings (shut off valve, adaptor and flex hose), it causes it to protrude from the wall about 5" so when I try to slide the stove back, it doesn't allow me to slide it all the way to the back wall. Can I safely install some sort of 90 degree elbow so the pipe and fittings will climb the wall thereby leaving me room to slide the range all the way back?
If so, what do I ask the ACE hardware guy for?
Thanks

assuming you have 1/2 pipe sticking thru the floor...
get two 1/2 inch black maleable 90's and one 1/2 x 3 black nipple and one 1/2 by close black nipple.
the longer nipple will go between the 90's the close nipple will screw into the top 90 with the gas cock screwed to it.
