Brizo Floriano pull-down kitchen faucet aerator replacement
Author: pvsub0 (MD)

Hello:

I need some help/advice repairing a 11-year old pull-down kitchen faucet.

Here is a pic: [drive.google.com]

I am pretty sure this is a Brizo Floriano -- any confirmations would help.

Here is the problem: [drive.google.com]

The aerator (if thats what the center spout is called) doesn't flow clean, and the outer spray ring needs replacement as well. Should I be looking only for Brizo parts, or are these standard, and work across many models.

Brizo parts don't seem to be widely available, I am trying to avoid a complete faucet replacement.

Thanks for your help!

the aerator will unscrew if you grab the 2 flat spots with a pliers and turn it CCW.
the whole spray assembly can be removed and soaked in white vinegar overnight. this should desolve any minerals that are causing your trouble.
the end of the spray may be a standard size that would accept another sprayer but it may not set into the spout opening properly.
caution.. if you remove the spray end (very easy job) be careful the hose doesn't fall back inside the spout. if it does you will have to get under the sink and coax it back out the opening. (sometimes easy.. sometimes a PITA)

You can take the aerator with you to a plumbing supply store or a home improvement store, they usually have an assortment of aerators and you might get lucky and find an exact match.
