Pipe size for a new long water line
Author: Handymax (FL)

I'm setting a Travel Trailer in my property for my son to live in.
We need to run a new 150' PVC water supply line.
We have a well and the pump is set a 45 pounds of pressure.
Want to tap after the filter system and before enters the main house.
The trailer has a bathroom and the kitchen sink only, with 1/2 plastic piping.
Need to end at a faucet spigot to connect a yard hose to the trailer water entrance
We're in Florida, no frost.
What size pipe should I use?
Should I reduce anywhere along the run?
What size spigot 1", 3/4 or 1/2?
How deep should I drench?

i would use 1 1/4 inch black poly pipe. it comes in a roll so the only fittings would be on either end.
use a 1 1/4 x 3/4 reducer on the end with a 3/4 inch quarter turn hose faucet.
