 Leaking faucet
Author: saeed195 (TX)

I have the faucet in the picture that is leaking. I need to replace the washer but can not figure how to get to the washer. I do not see any cracks or holes from which I can pop the top to reach the potential screw that gets me to the washer inside. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you,

Steve

Have you tried to unscrew the cap from the top of the handle?

Thank you for the pointers. I agree, it should either pop up or unscrew. I have tried to pop it using a flat screw driver, a blade, a knife. Anything I could force in between the plates. I also tried to unscrew the very top portion. Tried both left and right turn. One of the stems completely broke such that the handle now turns around 360 degrees.

Has anyone had success getting one of these opened to access the washer?
