few more tweaks and we're as close to perfect as we can be..
use an isolation flange on the boiler side of the circulator.


put a shutoff on the boiler side of the water feeder.
the expansion tank will work where it is but the preferred location is boiler side of the circulator. you can use an expansion tank tee which has ports for the tank and the water feed along with a drain..as I said it will all work fine the way it is drawn.
lastly, they make ball valves that are threaded or sweat on one side and pex press/crimp on the other side. saves time and one less potential leak.
